Liberty Digital Collection

Twenty years of Liberty festivals have acted as a catalyst for important conversations in the history of disability rights, radical art and collaboration. It has been both a responsibility and a pleasure to unearth these dispersed materials over the past year and to curate this accessible digital collection, which preserves elements of this work for future research and legacy, and sets the scene for continued archiving of these important work.

The depth of artists, works, and histories represented across more than 200 mixed media pieces stands as a strong testament to the impact that DAM has had in the UK since the 70s.
